About us

The brand Kooleco was founded in 2017. The aim of Kooleco is to market durable, sustainable and reusable products that are not only cool but also eco-friendly, hence the name Kooleco. Kooleco has recognized that the world is moving away from the use of plastics and other environmentally harming materials, such as BPAs and phthalates. The brand therefore focuses on using materials that reduce our environmental footprint to the maximum extent and aims to supply products that last for a long period of time. We always keep in mind what is best for our children and our families.

KOOLECO Silicone Straws are made with 100% platinum-cured silicone. Silicone is basically made from sand and can therefore be reused endlessly. It cannot get more KOOL & ECO than that. Silicone is first and foremost non-toxic and eco-friendly and that is why at KOOLECO we avoid the use of plastics as they contain chemicals that can leach toxic materials into foods and drinks. KOOLECO Silicone Straws are resistant to temperatures of -40 – 230 °C, so you can safely put KOOLECO straws in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer and why not, the oven. The straws can be used for hot and cold drinks and can be steam sterilized or sterilised in boiling water! KOOLECO Silicone Straws do not melt, break or warp, you have our 100% guarantee.

Traditional plastic containers are relatively safe to use at low temperature, however at higher temperatures they may release plasticizer endangering our health.
Use of traditional glass containers is cumbersome. They are fragile and heavy and inconvenient to carry around. Lids are usually made of a plastic that could release plasticizer, which may cause health risks at high temperature.

The KOOLECO silicone food container is small, light and easy to carry. It comes with a specially designed lid that is both compression-resistant and shatter-resistant. It avoids liquid food spillage. Both lid and box are made of silicone with can
withstand a wide range of temperatures from -40°C to +230°C. No harmful substances will be released when this silicone material is used at high temperature!
You can cool KOOLECO food containers down in the fridge or freezer, heat them up in a microwave, hot water and even in the oven.
The silicone material we use is extracted from pure and natural silica, does not harm the environment, is safe, healthy, heatproof, and sterilisable. It is free of plasticizer, BPA, phthalates and heavy metals.

KOOLECO glass food containers are made of high borosilicate glass with expansion coefficient is 3.7*10-6. The glass is safe for microwave, oven, freezer, dishwasher and can be heated up to 600 degree in the oven. The containers can pass a thermal shock of 120 ˚C -140 ˚C. The lids are made of polypropylene and cannot be put directly in the oven. The lids can withstand temperatures of - 40 to + 121 ˚C. The silicone seal in the lids is easy to clean with a notch for easy removal.
